U 16s Big 4-2 win against Holyhead

This clash of the island rivals was a highly competitive game which Llangefni dominated throughout the first half, with Ben Wright scoring from wide left to put us 1-0 up at half time.

Holyhead came out more determined in the 2nd half and put us under a lot of pressure, using their pace to get behind us to quickly turn the tables and equalise then go 2-1 up. Our heads stayed up and we took the battle back to them with our resilience and persistence paying off through a Llion Jones equaliser. This opend the game up for a frantic last ten minutes which saw us increase the pressure and it paid off with Aron Owen scoring two golas to put the game beyond Holyhead's reach.

A great performance from our lads who showed their mettle to the end.
