Kev Lloyd has agreed a new deal with Llangefni and will stay with the club next season, this is excellent news and we are pleased that Kev wants to help us in our title aspirations. I am sure that all our fans will be delighted as he is one that wears his heart on his sleeve and works his socks off up front.

AGM

17th June 2008

The club AGM was held yesterday with confirmation of the officers and directors of the club to continue as last season. Gus and Viv Williams were confirmed as Manager and Assistant respectively and the Reserves structure is to continue as before, but with more input from the 1st team coaching staff. The junior section will also continue in its present format and the Academy will continue through next season.

The financial report showed that despite the increased costs in the Premier League, the club showed a small profit over the twelve months, which was not expected, but gives a sound footing for the coming season.

The club will also proceed with making sure we continue to meet all of the ongoing  criteria for the WPL and the FAW licencing requirements in anticipation of an early return to the top tier which was re-iterated as the goal of the club.

There were no further announcements on the playing front until forms are signed and registered, although there are a number of players on contract with the club and as already posted committments from other players. Gus and Viv are of course active in the market and signings will be revealed as they happen.

There are several pre- season games arranged with dates to be confirmed shortly when the venues have been agreed.

We will endeavour to keep everyone informed as quickly as possible, as we are aware of the speculation at this time of the year.
