v Glannau won 3-0 scorers were Ioan 2 Steve Jones 1.   v Llanerchymedd 8-1 scorers were Tom Wyn 5, Sion T 1, Iwan 1, Steve Jones 1.   Fitness and disciplined football saw the Reserves come from behind to complete a comprehensive victory against a local rival. Although we were missing a few players this performance demonstrated the ability of all players within the squad. We are hoping for a few more signings to come through that will add yet more depth and quality to the squad.    A friendly has been arranged v Llandegfan this Weds ko 6.30pm to be played at the Isgraig field.

Pwllheli Pre season 4-3 win

Pwllheli Pre season 4-3 win

Another good workout with Pwllheli coming to make a game of it and gving us a physical test to go with the football.

The squad look fit and ready with the pre-season traing sessions showing their true worth in the control, passing and formation.

First half saw some excellent link up play from back to front, with Darren Bach shining and playing in both Kev's numerous times and all three getting on the score sheet with good strikes and well worked goals and several chances going begging too. Pwllheli put up strong resistance and it showed that we can handle the physical demands, but they got a goal back from a deep cross before half time.

A lot of shake ups in players coming on and off with different formations tried. Kev Lloyd putting away a fine penalty, plus two or three simple tapins gpoing spare, but a couple of back post lapses to let in two late headers.

On the whole we are looking good with some still missing on holiday and a couple to sign on. Quick, incisive football to feet makes it a game to watch.

Bigger test on Friday to see how far we have come.

Revised Info on new signings

23rd July 2008

'Llangefni Town FC have accomplished two signifcant signings following a very successful period in pre-season training and also some highly impressionable appearances for the Island Games Squad.

Both Kevin Roberts and Chris Williams sign for the club following keen interest from many clubs in the area at various levels of Football, it was perceived as a good move forward for their development within the game as the ambitions of the club matched those of the players'.

All members of the club and supporters will embrace the signings with great delight.
