3-3 at home to Gresford

A draw that feels more like a loss, 3-0 up with 15 minutes to go and they snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat.

Coasting and clear with the probability of more goals and a moral boosting resounding win, turned into a late flurry of goals from Gresford ending with their equaliser in injury time.

First half we played well enough although with trepitdation, but  finally settling after the early loss of defender Chris Williams and going ahead just before half time with a well worked goal from Ady Glo.

Second half we looked good and really put them under pressure with the midfield and forwards harrassing them continuallly and an early goal coming from Kev Roberts, plus near misses for Darren bach, Ozzy, Danny Glyn and Ady. At 2-0 Kev Lloyd came on for the Danny Glyn and shortly ran onto a rebound to make it three

With 15 minutes to go and the game seemingly all over they came back strongly to gain a draw against the earlier run of play.

A great pity with other results going our way too, we could have been top three  or four instead of mid table.

No doubt a lot to think about over the coming days before our local encounter with rivals Glantraeth, who themselves suffered an unexpected loss at home.
